Discovery Assessment
Enjoy a one-to-one appointment with our resident Ruka trichologist, a hair and scalp specialist who you can speak to about using the right products, routine and the foundations of hair loss.
Ruka Installation
Ruka’s team of hairstylists will install your ponytail using their specially formulated gels to hydrate, nourish and protect your hair. This service includes tips from your stylist to maintain and recreate your look at home.
Scalp Soothe
Scalp feeling tight or dealing with general stress? Enjoy the soothing experience of a menthol massage with Philip Kingsley’s rehydrating scalp tonic.
Cornrows
Whether you want to wear them as they are or use them to lay the foundation for a wig installation, a Ruka stylist will cornrow your hair to perfection.

What is the Ruka Curl Bar?
The latest edition to compliment our retail experience in Selfridges. Book an in-store appointment with a trichologist for a hair and scalp assessment to learn more about your hair’s texture, or get your favourite Ruka clip-ins, wigs and ponytails installed by a team of professional hairstylists.
How can I find you?
Selfridges flagship store on Oxford Street, London. You can find us on the Ground Floor in the Beauty Workshop, alongside brands Aveda and Swarovski.
Do all services need to be pre-booked?
While we're happy to accept walk-ins for appointments, we only have limited spaces and our books fill up quick. We would recommend pre-booking to avoid disappointment.
What hair products are available at Selfridges?
In Selfridges we offer a curated range of our TextureMatch and The Classics range, from clip ins, and ponytails, to wigs and wig sets. Alongside our range of hair care essentials from the Wet Products Lab. For our full range of products, shop online at rukahair.com
Can I bring hair I've purchased online?
Yes, you can either purchase Ruka products in store at Selfridges, or bring in Ruka products that you've purchased online at either our online store or Selfridges website. We don't offer services with non-Ruka products or hair you've purchased elsewhere.
I've booked a service, what do I need to bring on the day?
There's only two things to remember for your appointment. You need to bring the hair you are planning to install and have your hair already washed.
Can I amend a booking once I've made it?
Yes, appointments can be adjusted up to 24 hours prior to your appointment. Please follow the instructions contained in your appointment confirmation email/sms.
